2. The Service

Candid Cam provides a platform for event hosts to collect, review, and share guest photos via QR code. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You may not share your account or use the Service on behalf of others without their consent.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Content and uploads

You retain ownership of any content you upload. By uploading, you grant Candid Cam a limited licence to store and display that content solely for the purpose of delivering the Service. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and share any content.

You must not upload content that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or infringes any third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms without notice.

5. Guest uploads

As an event host, you are responsible for ensuring guests are aware that their photos will be reviewed by you. Candid Cam displays a consent prompt to every guest before they upload. Hosts must not use guest photos outside the scope of the event without explicit permission from the individuals depicted.

6. Payments

Certain features require a paid plan. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. All fees are shown clearly before purchase. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis — contact us at hello@candidcam.app.

7. Prohibited uses

• Using the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.
• Uploading malicious code, spam, or content that infringes third-party rights.
• Scraping or bulk-downloading content without permission.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the Service will be error-free. To the extent permitted by law, Candid Cam is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any formal proceedings.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the site. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
